CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- Firefighters responded to a blaze that badly damaged a house in Orange County Tuesday morning.
It happened just after 10 a.m. in the 9100 block of Dodsons Crossroads.
Chopper 11 HD was over the scene as smoke billowed from the roof of the large two-story house. The roof was completely destroyed in the fire.
Firefighters are still investigating what caused the blaze, but they believe a fire in the fireplace was left unattended. Luckily, no one was home at the time.
