Man hit, killed on I-440 in Raleigh overnight
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A man was hit and killed on Interstate 440 overnight.

According to Raleigh police, around 1:39 a.m., a car hit a man in the eastbound lanes of the highway near the Six Forks Road exit.

Cameron Scott Morrison, 27, did not survive.

I-440 E was shut down between Glenwood Avenue and Six Forks Road.
