Durham Titans win national championship

DURHAM (WTVD) -- There's a great news for a local team that ABC11 viewers helped.

The Durham Titans are now national champions!

The team from the John Avery Boys and Girls Club beat a team out of Detroit by a score of 20 to 0, in Florida.

The Titans needed to raise $3,000 to get to the big game in Orlando.

Your generosity through ABC11 Together helped them raise more than $5,000 for the trip.
