Fugitive miniature horse captured in NW Houston neighborhood

HOUSTON, Texas -- Thursday morning, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's office responded to the 5500 block of Havenwoods in the Greenwood Forest subdivision regarding an animal livestock call.

A homeowner had discovered a miniature horse in his driveway.

Using a mini horse favorite, apples, the homeowner was able to lure the fugitive into his backyard until constables arrived.

The horse was released to livestock deputies.
