Missing 11-year-old Durham boy found safe at Northgate Mall

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- There was a happy ending Friday night in the frantic search for an 11-year-old boy who went missing Friday.

ABC11 was there as Leland Crider was found near Northgate Mall.

The boy went missing sometime between 3 and 6 p.m. Friday.

He's the son of a deputy sheriff in Durham.

The boy was reunited with his family around 11 p.m.
