Bright and Beautiful Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Not as chilly this morning as yesterday and a warmer afternoon with highs near 80 degrees. Little warmer tomorrow then Monday is our transition day to cooler temperatures. Highs could reach mid 70s before falling late afternoon behind the moisture starved front...dew points crash from the 50s to mid-30s so the air will be very dry. Still some clouds around Tuesday with highs in the mid-60s, then low 60s Wednesday with upper 30s Wednesday night!

Thursday is opening day at the 2024 North Carolina State Fair and the weather will be sunny but cool, highs in the low to mid 60s. The pleasant weather continues into next weekend with highs back to the lower to mid 70s.
