NC government offices experiencing phone, email outage
The North Carolina government says it's experiencing service outages involving its email and phone systems.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Governor Pat McCrory's office says some state government offices are currently experiencing service outages involving email and phone systems.

That includes the North Carolina Department of Transportation other agencies.

The department stated on their website that a network outage at the State Office of Information Technology Services is affecting the DOT's ability to send and receive email statewide.

The problems started Tuesday morning and are sporadic.

The Office of Information Technology Services is currently working to restore service.
