Two rushed to hospital after shooting in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A man and a woman were taken to the hospital after a shooting Sunday night in the McDougald Terrace apartments.

It happened around 9 p.m. on Ridgeway Avenue.

Police said several shots were fired. The man was shot in the chest and the woman was shot in the arm. Her injuries are not life threatening, according to authorities.

No word yet on the man's condition or a possible suspect.
