Man charged with murder in Fayetteville 'shot house' shooting

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department has arrested a man in a "shot house" shooting that left a man dead and three others wounded.

The shooting happened at a home on 300 block of Dick Street on April 5. Police said liquor was being illegally sold at the house at all hours of the day and night.

Ivery Elliot, 34, was found dead at the scene.

Now, 40-year-old Izaak Eugene Bridges is charged with first-degree murder in the case. He was being held without bond.
