Car burns after crash in Durham County

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Investigators say charges are pending after a fiery crash in Durham County Thursday afternoon.

It happened along Mt. Sinai Road around 4 p.m.

The NC Highway Patrol said a teen driver was going too fast when she lost control in a curve and ran off the road into a tree.

Video from the scene showed the car burning after the crash.

Three teen passengers in the car were taken to Duke Medical Center. The driver was not seriously hurt.
