Fire destroys condo clubhouse at Sugar Mountain resort

BANNER ELK, NC (WTVD) -- A huge fire broke out on top of Sugar Mountain Thursday morning.

WSOC-TV said it was an administrative building at the Sugar Ski and Country Club that began burning before 7 a.m.

Sugar Ski and Country Club is a year-round condominium resort.

No one was hurt, but the building was gutted.
