Man in hospital after Goldsboro shooting

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are looking for a suspect after a shooting sent a man to the hospital in Goldsboro.

It happened in the 900 block of North Spence Avenue around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Police said 22-year-old Alexander Rickey Shaw was arguing with Linwood Isaiah Grantham, 24, and officials said they have had a long running dispute. The argument escalated and Grantham shot Shaw, according to authorities.

Shaw was taken to the Wayne Memorial Hospital and underwent surgery.

Police issued a warrant for Grantham for assault with a deadly weapon to intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
