CHARLOTTE (WTVD) -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said 5 people were shot Friday night near the N.C. Music Factory.

Detectives said they charged three men in connection to the late-night incident.

Authorities arrested Chris Ardrey, 19, Cario Davis, 18, and Jason Farmer, 19.

WSOC reports that officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call around 10 p.m.

Police said a woman and two men were shot in the parking lot and taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, officers responded to another call less than a mile away. Police said a man drove himself to a nearby intersection after being shot near the N.C. Music Factory.

Police said they were then notified of a fifth victim who drove himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Officers stopped a vehicle at a traffic stop and detained the people, Chris Ardrey and Cario Davis, and weapons found inside.

Police said there appeared to be an altercation inside the Queen City Underground between several people which led to the gunfire and spilled out into the parking lot.

Ardrey was charged with armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of stolen firearm, and alter or remove a serial number from firearm.

Davis was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of stolen firearm, and alter or remove a serial number from firearm.

Farmer was shot and is still at the hospital, WSOC reports.
