Man hit by car on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police say a man was hit by a car in the 6600 block of Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh late Monday night.

A preliminary investigation shows that shortly before 10:30 p.m., 40-year-old Gregory Marlowe Roach tried to cross the road and was hit by a northbound Hyundai Sonata.

He suffered serious injuries and was taken to WakeMed. The driver of the car also suffered minor injuries.

No charges have been filed.
