CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Chapel Hill.
Police said it happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Taylor Street.
The pedestrian was taken to UNC Hospitals with what police said were serious injuries. The driver remained at the scene.
One northbound lane of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard is closed while police investigate.
No other details were immediately released.
