Man seriously hurt after being hit by car in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A Durham man will spend Monday night in the hospital after being hit by a car.

Police say it happened around 2 p.m. in the 1500 block of Riddle Road.

Roddy Flowers, 37, was crossing the street in a crosswalk, when a car struck him.

Flowers was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital.

No word, if the driver will face any charges.
