Power lines down in north Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Wires were knocked down near the intersection of Ligon Mill Road and U.S. Highway 401 in Raleigh, which is just south of Rolesville.

Duke Energy Progress reports 39 customers in the area without power after the incident late Monday afternoon.

Video from Chopper 11HD showed a power pole that appeared to be snapped in half.

There's no word on what caused the pole to snap.
