WILMINGTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- The North Carolina woman who won a $188 million Powerball lottery jackpot in February was cited for drug possession on Thursday night.

ABC11's news partner, WWAY in Wilmington, reports 26-year-old Marie Holmes was charged with simple possession of marijuana after the drug was found inside her Brunswick County home.

Police were there to arrest a man for violating the curfew requirements of his bond release.

Lamarr McDow, who lives with Holmes, was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

The alleged gang member was out of jail on a $3 million bond on charges of trafficking heroin.
