Raleigh police need public's help in identifying bank robbery suspect

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a Raleigh bank robbery at a Wells Fargo branch in the 600 block of Oberlin Road.

It happened around 11 a.m. Monday when a male suspect demanded money from a teller and then fled on foot. No weapon was displayed.

The suspect was described as standing 5 feet 7-8 inches tall and having a thin build. He has salt-and-pepper hair and was wearing a black jacket and dark pants.

Police said the suspect could be the same man who was responsible for bank robberies committed Dec. 8 at Wells Fargo's 2600 Hillsborough Street branch and Jan. 8 at the same location that was robbed Monday.
