1 dead, 3 injured in shooting at Wake Inn in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A shooting Monday night in Raleigh has resulted in one person dying and three others needing treatment at the hospital.

It happened about 9 p.m. at the Wake Inn on New Bern Avenue. Raleigh Police Department is investigating.

Tuesday morning, 21-year-old Kyvonte Taylor died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

The three other people who were shot had non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into what caused the shooting and who was to blame is ongoing.
