ANGRY RHINO TERRORIZES TOWN
A wild rhino entered a city in southern Nepal Monday, killing a woman and injuring several other people.
Teams with tranquilizer guns and elephants were on the way to the city to help out.
Officials said the rhino killed a 61-year-old woman on the outskirts of Hetauda, a city of about 135,000 people that borders a forested area. An unknown number of people were injured inside the city.
Attempts to chase the animal out of the city by blasting vehicle horns and beating drums were unsuccessful, with the animal running from one area to another.
Hetauda is about 50 miles south of Kathmandu, Nepal's capital.
FIREFIGHTER FALLS
A California firefighter is critically hurt after falling through the roof of a burning home.
The scary incident was all caught on camera Sunday.
The firefighter was trying to put out heavy flames in the garage of a Frenso home from the roof when he fell through - right into the inferno.
Fellow firefighters and several Good Samaritans rushed in and pulled him out.
The 25-year veteran was taken to the hospital with second and third-degree burns.
CHILD SAVED
In Washington State, a Good Samaritan saved a 4-year-old boy from running out into a busy highway.
As the man grabs the child - and keeps him from getting hit and possibly killed - a police officer drives up.
The Good Samaritan didn't stick around - driving off once the officer took charge.
A local news station was able to track down the man, who said he was no hero.
As for the child, police say he's fine and it appears he just slipped away from home.
