FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A sixth victim has come forward and detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department's Youth Services Unit have filed four additional charges against Rodney Scott in this most recent case.

The Fayetteville Police Department said the sixth victim came forward after seeing the news coverage of Scott's arrest.

Detectives initiated an investigation, based on the new information, and were able to obtain warrants charging Rodney Scott with an additional count of statutory sex offense with a child, one count of crimes against nature, and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

These new charges stem from incidents that occurred on Feb. 12 and 13 with a victim who was 15 at the time of the offenses.

Detectives served the additional warrants on Scott at the Cumberland County Detention Center, where he has remained since his arrest May 2. Scott's bond was increased by an additional $275,000 for these latest charges.

The former youth basketball coach now faces 69 total charges.

Scott is expected to appear in court Wednesday on the most recent charges.

Anyone who believes they have been a victim, or anyone who knows someone they believe has been the victim of a sexual assault, or any crime, involving Rodney Scott is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1529, (910) 433-1530, or (910) 433-1851.
