Landlord, tenant dispute ends in gunfire, Wake County officials say

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- According to the Wake County Sheriff's Office, a dispute between a landlord and a tenant got heated and ended in gunfire.

On Sunday around 4:15 p.m., deputies were called to the 5000 block of Rocky Top Drive after reports of a shooting.

When authorities arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound which appears to be non-life-threatening.

Deputies have not commented who was injured or why the incident occurred.

The sheriff's department is still investigating and will provide more details when they become available.
