The largest craft and holiday gift show in the southeast opened to excited crowds Thursday morning.

This weekend marks the 49th Annual Holly Day Fair, presented by the Junior League of Fayetteville. ABC11 is a proud sponsor of the holiday fundraiser, which draws an average of 21,000 visitors and 200 vendors to the Crown Complex each year. This year's event runs November 5-8.

This year, the Holly Day Fair opened with a ribbon-cutting featuring Fayetteville Mayor Nat Robertson, Cumberland County's district attorney Billy West, ABC11's Nicole Carr and Miss Fayetteville State University, Jasmine Bogan.

The Holly Day shopping experience includes food specialties, household accents, Christmas decorations, clothing, jewelry and much more from local businesses. Proceeds support the Junior League of Fayetteville's Childhood Mental Health Initiative.
