FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Five days after taking off for a fun-filled trip to Dallas, the "Snowball Express" returned to Fayetteville on Thursday afternoon.

On board were 90 children and spouses of fallen military heroes.

They spent the last few days being honored for their family's ultimate sacrifice.

The trip was courtesy of the Snowball Express, a group dedicated to giving happy memories to military families of fallen soldiers. Since 2006, the group has been dedicated to giving these vacations to families of soldiers killed since 9/11.

It looks like a good time was again had on the Snowball Express.

Judging from the smiles upon their return, the trip was a success!
