ACC officials' coordinator John Clougherty to retire

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- As the ACC's coordinator of men's basketball officials, John Clougherty spends a great deal of time fielding angry phone calls.

That's nothing compared to what he had to hear as a working official for 30 years.

Clougherty is excited to tackle one more season in his current job before hanging it up.

ABC11's Mark Armstrong sat down with Clougherty to reflect on a pretty remarkable career.
