World's longest rowing shell seen at Jordan Lake
With seats for 24, the boat from Switzerland sets sail in the US for the first time

APEX, NC (WTVD) -- Chopper 11 HD caught an unusual sight on Jordan Lake Friday.

The Stampli Express, a rowing shell from Switzerland that's over 150 feet long and seats 24 rowers plus a coxswain, is making its US debut.

The boat is basically three 8-person shells that bolt together to make one big one.
