Squirrel gets tipsy from crabapples

It looks like this squirrel may have had one too many and couldn't quite function the next morning.

A video on YouTube shows the little guy making his way down a crabapple tree after feasting on too many fermented apples.

The little squirrel is clearly not all there, as he half hops away.

The YouTube user that posted the video writes in the video's description, "We found this Squirrel in the backyard and thought at first it was hurt but then realized it had one too many fermented crabapples. Sorry about the shaky camera! Had a hard time keeping it steady while laughing."

Scientists say the poor creature could actually be intoxicated. Animals can get buzzed from the naturally occurring alcohol found in fermented fruit.
