There have been reports of a Time Warner Cable outage in North Carolina.

TWC told ABC11 the outage was due to an issue with a router that affected all services. The issue reportedly did not affect all customers in any area, just customers with that particular router.

The company's Twitter help account confirmed the outage on Thursday afternoon.

According to DownDetector.com, the outage has spread across the state.

This is the second TWC outage in two weeks in North Carolina.

TWC sent ABC11 the following information:

"We sincerely apologize for the outage that affected some of our Carolinas customers earlier this afternoon. We know that our customers depend on us for reliable, high-quality service, and we will continue to work hard to deliver the kind of service customers expect and deserve from us."

The company claimed the issue lasted only 55 minutes.
