Truck carrying canoe wrecks east of Southern Pines

VASS, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol and Moore County Sheriff's Office are investigating a Sunday evening wreck involving a truck carrying a canoe.

It happened around 9 p.m. in the 600 block of Youngs Road east of Southern Pines.

Pictures from the scene showed the truck upside down.

There were no serious injuries.
