By the numbers: Wake County Schools back to school

Wake County Schools updated the media Friday on its back to school numbers, more coverage later today on ABC11 and ABC11.com, but first here's some of the highlights:

• 10,000 teachers employed
• 100 vacant teacher positions
• 700 new teachers, 350 are first year teachers
• 2,200 teacher assistants
• 830 bus drivers and the district is fully staffed
