Whale just misses paddle boarder

OCEANSIDE, California (WTVD) -- A woman taking video of a paddle boarder with her phone caught the moment when a whale leaped out of the water - nearly hitting the person.

It happened over the weekend in Oceanside, California.

The paddle boarder managed to stay upright despite the huge splash.
