Stress drives UNC students to rave

Some University of North Carolina students decided they needed a break from studying. In an attempt to break up the monotony of exam week, students in Chapel Hill decided to throw a small party -- in the library!

On the evening of December 9, hundreds of students gathered in the Undergraduate Library to participate in a flash mob rave. As some students danced, others looked on.

Library staff and students who didn't participate can be seen on the outskirts of the crowd looking in.

Students jumped around, danced in circles and ended the festivity with the singing of the shool's alma mater.

It appears as if no action was taken against the students who participated in the soiree.

Now, it's back to the books. Exams end on December 12.
