The crash happened Sunday at Raeford Road and Revere Street around 2:30 p.m.
Police say when they arrived at the crash, they discovered Sencion and his wrecked bike at the intersection. The truck that allegedly hit him had fled the scene.
According to investigators, the pickup truck pulled into the path of the motorcycle. Sencion was thrown from his bike and then hit by the truck.
McCartha Hawkins, 60, is charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, failing to yield the right of way and leaving the scene of an accident.
Hawkins was taken into custody Monday afternoon. He is currently being held in the Cumberland County Jail under a $5,000 unsecured bond.
