Detectives say they originally named Manuel as a person of interest in the case, but said since Manuel learned detectives wanted to talk to him, he has been hiding out.
His girlfriend, 35-year-old Jessica Morgan, was found dead inside her SUV in Stedman over the Memorial Day weekend.
Manuel is a black male, 5'11" and weighs about 175 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his forehead.
He has a past history of domestic violence and detectives consider him armed and dangerous. If anyone knows where he is, they should contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
