Deputy Mitchell Marlow is charged with two counts of assault on a female and he is being held without bond.
Sheriff Ed McMahon announced Monday he has terminated Marlow from his position as deputy.
"The facts as presented to me indicated domestic violence along with alcohol consumption," McMahon said.
The Sheriff also said he will continue with zero tolerance for that kind of behavior.
