Gusty winds in the 40 mile per hour range will come in the morning and possibly stronger in the afternoon. A Wind Advisory is in effect for all the region.

Schwenneker said the thunderstorms are not expected to be severe.

"Rainfall amounts will be only about a quarter of an inch, with some areas getting a bit more," Schwenneker said. "The showers will move out by mid-afternoon and some sun will return."

Things will clear out and be slightly cooler for the weekend.
