It happened at Burlington Mills Road near Hwy 401/South Main Street where they're building a new middle school.
A Hardees and McDonalds near there were also without water and forced to shut down.
Just before 3 p.m., Eagles said the City of Raleigh had been able to restore pressure to most of the town.
There was no word if residents would be asked to boil water.
