Chemical scare at GlaxoSmithKline

An ammonia release at GlaxoSmithKline in RTP Friday reportedly caused at least one person to be affected by the chemical.

The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the GSK plant on TS Alexander Drive.

According to reports, someone dropped a container of ammonia in a conference room. Further details have not been released.

GlaxoSmithKline is a pharmaceutical company based in the United Kingdom that has several locations across the United States.
