A kitten in Raleigh is lucky to be alive after becoming trapped in a storm drain Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters jumped into action after the kitten got stuck in a park behind their firehouse on Sanderford Road.

Firefighters were able to use a robot to chase the kitten out of the culvert. It was not hurt.

Animal control officers took the kitten to the Wake County Animal Shelter.
