The incident occurred between Rock Quarry Road and Jones Sausage Road around 12:45 p.m.
Video showed people milling around the car while it was still lightly smoking, then the car slowly catching fire before becoming fully engulfed about the time the fire crew got there.
Authorities have not reported any injuries.
