Fire crews in Cary rescue 11-month-old Great Dane that fell in hole

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Cary Fire Department came to the rescue of a dog trapped in a hole Saturday.

The 11-month-old Great Dane named Mudge accidentally fell into the hole and got stuck.

Crews used rope rescue techniques to successfully pull Mudge to safety.

A vet was also called in to check out the dog, who had no injuries.
