Durham police trying to identify larceny suspect

Durham police investigators are trying to identify a man who stole several 12-packs of beer from a local convenience store.

A man entered the BP convenience store on Hillsborough Road around 4:30 a.m. on April 16 and took several 12-packs of Corona beer.

He fled in a silver Ford Expedition with a paper license tag. He was described as an African American man, 35 to 45 years old with a medium build.

He was wearing a white shirt, dark pants and a dark hat.
