/*Clive Sweeney*/, 59, was crushed to death in June when his bicycle was hit by a SUV driven by /*Ryan Idyle*/. Idyle told police he swerved to miss a deer and struck Sweeney.
The wreck happened on Pleasant Green Road.
According to the News and Observer, Idyle pleaded guilty this week to misdemeanor death by vehicle and driving without insurance. Other citations were dropped in exchange for the guilty plea.
In addition to his jail time, a judge gave Idyle 5 years probation.
