Mother charged with leaving kids

WAKE COUNTY Police say Yuvonne Baker left her children -- ages 7, 9, 12 and 14 -- home alone last Thursday when she traveled out of state.

She just got back Monday when authorities charged her.

Officers say the kids weren't hurt, but they went to a neighbor's house to ask for food, because they were hungry.

Baker is currently being held under a $5,000 bail at the Wake County Jail.
