Army officials said Tuesday that a massive fire that destroyed a warehouse containing all the equipment for the 82nd Airborne's All-American Band on July 2 was likely sparked by a problem in the building's electrical system.

Investigators released their preliminary report, and planned to release more detailed findings in 30 days.

The massive World War II era off Longstreet Road and Keerans Street burned to the ground just days before the band was due to perform in 4th of July celebrations at Ft. Bragg.

The band lost all its instruments.

The band didn't give up, and got loaner instruments from local schools and citizens so the show could go on.
