Investigators said 25-year old Robert Matthews was working the door of the FUBAR on Lillington Highway when he was attacked.
He was allegedly hit in the head with a pool cue until he was unconscious, and then beaten and kicked as he lay on the floor.
Deputies intend to charge 41-year old Travis Jake Cockman, of 3291 South River Road, Lillington, with attempted first-degree murder when they find him.
They also plan to charge 46-year old Benny Joe Ray, of 3291 South River Road, Lillington and 28-year old Mark Anthony Wood, Jr., of 141 Capitol Hill Road, Lillington with being accessories after the fact.
