Raleigh area cyclist faces doping ban

RALEIGH, N.C.

USADA - the national anti-doping agency for the US - said 62-year-old David LeDuc of Willow Spring tested positive for a steroid, EPO, and an amphetamine in a test done following the Masters Road National Championships in Oregon this past September.

USADA said LeDuc has accepted the two-year suspension.

Cyclingnews.com reported LeDuc finished seventh in the men's 60-64 age division race.

Leduc was the world champion in the 50-53 age division in 2001.
