It happened around 10:30 a.m. on Chapel Hill Road at Hillsborough Street.

Police say 75-year-old Blanche Nichols made a left turn to go westbound on Chapel Hill Road, but she entered the wrong side of the divided road.
Nichols' car crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Police said one person was seriously hurt.
Nichols has been charged with traveling the wrong-way on a dual lane highway.
