A huge milestone for Disney's "Frozen." The movie is now the highest-grossing animated film ever.

"Frozen" opened in Japan this weekend bringing the total amount of money grossed to $1.072 billion, which beats the old record holder, Disney's "Toy Story 3."

The film won two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.

Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" has become a cultural phenomenon after John Travolta butchered her name as he introduced her at this year's Oscars.
